The Rocks

The Rocks is a historical precinct between the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. The classical buildings at The Rocks reflect Australian culture since the 18th century. Every weekend the famous flea market operates here, featuring arts and crafts, glass items, ornaments, souvenirs and much more.

Sydney Visitors Centre

The Centre provides all sorts of Sydney information like brochures, maps and guides to visitors. Visitors can also book accommodation and tours with the Centre.

The Centre opens from 9.30am to 5.30pm daily. Closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday, and closed at 4pm on New Year's Eve.

Circular Quay

Circular Quay is Sydney's major interchange for ferries, buses and trains. Ferries depart here to all major ferry piers in Sydney, including Manly in the north, Watson Bay in the east, and Parramatta in the west. To the right of Circular Quay is the Sydney Opera House, and to the left are The Rocks and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Street buskers perform here every weekend to add colour to the streets of Sydney.

The Museum of Contemporary Art

The Museum of Contemporary Art is the only museum in Australia dedicated to collecting and exhibiting the contemporary arts - all recent forms of art, from 1960s pieces to current exhibits. With over 5000 collections from Australia and around the world, exhibitions and events are organised by the museum from time to time.
